Video: Sharks' Jacob Middleton Fights Bruins' Trent Frederic

Although the San Jose Sharks and Boston Bruins do not play one another often, things got crazy during their Sunday afternoon contest. San Jose defenseman Jacob Middleton would get into a big fight with Bruins forward Trent Frederic and handled himself very well.

This fight was pretty interesting because the fighters were the same size and weight, at least according to NESN's broadcast. However, it was apparent that Middleton was able to land far more punches in it than Frederic. Even with this, Frederic was able to successfully secure the takedown.

Both Middleton and Frederic are young players who are trying to cement themselves permanent roles with their teams. They've each done well so far this season. Middleton has played five games for the Sharks this season and has an assist. Frederic, on the other hand, has played in all four of Boston's games and also has an assist.

When the Sharks and Bruins go up against each other again on February 26th, don't be surprised to see these two fight one another a second time.
