2 Carolina Hurricanes Most Likely to be Traded

The Carolina Hurricanes are a team who isn't shy to make a bold move. We've seen it with offer sheets and they were in on the Jack Eichel talks. There's no doubt the team will be going for it this season which could lead to a couple of trades closer to the deadline.

2 Hurricanes Most Likely to be Moved

Ryan Suzuki: The former first round pick is someone who was apparently involved in the Buffalo Sabres talks and is a prospect who could be used to upgrade the NHL roster. Suzuki is the younger brother of Montreal Canadiens forward Nick Suzuki and so far in the American Hockey League this season has recorded three points in five games. An offensively gifted centre who is still getting accustomed to the pro game, there's a market for Suzuki and the Hurricanes may find out later on this season who has the most interest.

Brett Pesce: Moving Pesce would be a huge risk for sure, but he's someone who could land the Hurricanes a game-changing forward. It's much more likely the team moves on from a couple top prospects but if they want to acquire a dynamic top-six forward, some serious talent is going to have to be shipped out and the 26-year-old Pesce fits the bill. With the emergence of Tony DeAngelo and Ethan Bear on the right-side, it would certainly make a deal easier to swallow in Carolina. Unlikely yes, but if the Hurricanes get into trade talks about all-star caliber players, Pesce could be the piece moved.
