2 Dallas Stars Most Likely To Be Traded
The Dallas Stars are off to a 4-4-2 start as they welcome back some healthy bodies this season. While they have some big names signed long term, the Stars will have some serious decisions to make come trade deadline.
2 Stars Likely to be Traded in 2021-22
Joe Pavelski: Depending on where the Stars sit in the playoff picture. Pavelski could easily be moved. The veteran pivot is a pending free agent and holds a no-trade clause where he's able to submit a list of three teams he will approve deals to. If the surprise Sharks are in the picture, he surely would head back to San Jose, however it's unlikely at this point they hold on to their good start. Keep an eye on the Edmonton Oilers and Colorado Avalanche come closer to the trade deadline.
John Klingberg: The Klingberg sweepstakes will be crazy if the mobile defenseman doesn't have a contract extension come early 2022. The Stars will surely listen to trade offers and there's certainty they don't want to lose Klingberg for nothing, considering the market for right-handed offensive defenseman. So far this season the 29-year-old has appeared in six games and has two assists. Teams to watch out for include the Florida Panthers and Calgary Flames.
