Anaheim Ducks Key Forward Out Six Weeks
The Anaheim Ducks have announced that forward Max Comtois had surgery to remove a small bone in his right hand and will be out for the next six weeks.
Comtois last played for the Ducks on November 11th when they took on the Seattle Kraken. It's been a tough season for the 22-year-old forward, as he has just one assist in 13 games. Many envisioned this campaign to be his true breakout one, but as of now, it hasn't been.Injury Update: Max Comtois underwent surgery yesterday to remove a small bone in his right hand. Perhaps getting this surgery will end up helping Comtois find his game once he returns. Keep in mind, he just had a fantastic season last year where he scored 16 goals and registered 33 total points. Thus, the potential to be a true top-six forward is definitely there.
The Ducks will be looking to continue their very good start to the season without the key forward. At this time, they have a 10-5-3 record and have been one of the NHL's biggest surprises.
