Arizona Coyotes Defenseman Done For Season
When Arizona Coyotes defenseman Conor Timmins was first injured, the team announced that he was expected to miss up to 12 weeks. That was already going to be a lot of time, but now things have gotten far worse. Timmins has now been ruled out for the rest of the season because he requires surgery for his knee injury.
This is horrible news for the young defenseman. After being traded from the Colorado Avalanche to the Coyotes this off-season, it was expected that he would finally have a full-time role at the NHL level. Of course, the Coyotes have far less depth on the backend than the Avalanche. Now, his 2021-22 regular season ends with him playing just six games.5 @PHNX_Coyotes takeaways from Philly:

For the Coyotes, this is also a notable blow. Timmins was brought back as one of the main pieces of the Darcy Kuemper trade and now they won't have him until next fall. They certainly could use him right now, as they still have yet to win a game this season. They currently sport a 0-9-1 record.
Lastly, we'd like to send our best wishes to Conor as he recovers from his injury. We'll be rooting for you next season.
