Arizona Coyotes Forward Done For The Season
Arizona Coyotes forward Dmitrij Jaskin has now been ruled out for the rest of the season, according to Craig Morgan.
Wow, this is just atrocious news. This is already the second player who the Coyotes have lost for the entire season and we are only in November. For those who are unaware, defenseman Conor Timmins was the first player.Further to this, sounds like Coyotes F Dmitrij Jaškin will miss the rest of the season. https://t.co/pzdcXacBSD

Jaskin was the victim of a knee-on-collision with Nashville Predators defenseman Mark Borowiecki on Saturday night. At the time of this piece, Borowiecki is set to have a hearing with NHL Player Safety because of it. Due to the severity of Jaskin's injury, it wouldn't be surprising to see Borowiecki's punishment be pretty big.
After a 60-point campaign in 59 games last season with the KHL's Dynamo Moskva, Jaskin returned to the NHL on a one-year, $3.2 million contract with the Coyotes. Now, just like that, his season is done after just 12 games. In them, he only had an assist. However, it's a real shame because he had plenty of time to turn it around.
You hate to see injuries like this. We'd like to send our best wishes to Dmitrij and hope he lands another NHL contract next summer.
