Brendan Gallagher Fined $2,500 For Roughing
In Tuesday night's game between the Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers, Brendan Gallagher sucker punched Barclay Goodrow. Due to this, NHL Player Safety has fined Gallagher $2,500 for roughing.
At this point of the contest, the Canadiens were losing by a 3-2 score and there were under 30 seconds left in the third period. Therefore, it's easy to question why Gallagher would do this instead of focusing on tying the game. Keep in mind, he's one of their top scorers and the Canadiens desperately need to start winning to turn this bad start around.Montreal’s Brendan Gallagher has been fined $2,500, for Roughing NY Rangers’ Barclay Goodrow.
