Brutal Video: Red Wings Filip Hronek Hits Fan in the Head With Slap Shot
All Filip Hronek of the Detroit Red Wings was trying to do was clear the puck but unfortunately his slap shot to clear the zone got away from him and ended up over the glass, hitting a fan.
Red Wings say fan who was hit by puck was coherent, believed to have suffered a broken nose but went to the hospital for further evaluation

A lady was hit right in the face and based on the social media posts of one of her friends, has suffered several facial wounds. Hronek is not to blame in any way as obviously there was no intent there and this was just an unfortunate situation that can sometimes occur when you spectate at professional sports.
It appears the family of the fan were not happy with the medical attention provided to her by the Red Wings after the fact. We monitor the situation to see if anything comes out of it, but here's what was said afterwards and the shot by Hronek below:
