Buffalo Sabres Sign Forward
The Buffalo Sabres have signed forward Mark Jankowski to a one-year, $750,000 NHL contract.
It's been a tough road for Jankowski to make his way back to the NHL, so it's hard not to feel happy for him. During the summer, he originally signed a professional tryout contract with the New Jersey Devils, but was cut before the start of the regular season. With no interest from NHL teams, he went on to sign an AHL deal with Buffalo's AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans. We have signed forward Mark Jankowski to a one-year contract with an AAV worth $750,000.⁰⁰Arttu Ruotsalainen has been loaned to @AmerksHockey.⁰⁰Details: https://t.co/g5se40mnuN pic.twitter.com/3HeeDZqKFs

Jankowski has played marvelously with the Americans since. In 13 games, he has five goals and 12 points. That was enough for him to earn himself an NHL contract again and he will be looking to stick around from here.
In 45 games last season with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Jankowski had four goals and 11 points.
