Chicago Blackhawks Forward To Miss Time
Chicago Blackhawks forward Brandon Hagel will be out for the next two weeks due to a left shoulder injury.
This certainly isn't good news for Chicago, as Hagel seems to be becoming a key forward for them. Although the Blackhawks have had a very bad start to the regular season, Hagel has been producing well offensively. In 13 games, he has four goals and six points. This is also following a very good rookie campaign where he recorded 24 points in 52 games.MEDICAL UPDATE: Forward Brandon Hagel will miss approximately two weeks (left shoulder).

Hagel is a player who is worth paying attention to once he is officially able to return. He seems like he could take that next step and develop into a true top-six winger. He is still only 23 years old and has room for growth.
During these next two weeks, the Blackhawks will face some tough opponents, too. The Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames and St. Louis Blues are among them, so this could be a very difficult stretch for the struggling Blackhawks. Losing Hagel isn't going to make it any easier for them.
