Defenseman Back On Waivers For Second Time This Season
After being claimed off waivers by the Buffalo Sabres earlier this season, Christian Wolanin finds himself right back on them. The 26-year-old defenseman is once again there for the taking.
The Los Angeles Kings were the team who waived him earlier this season, so they will be able to claim him first. With Drew Doughty and Sean Walker currently out, they could elect to give Wolanin a second shot in LA.Wolanin (BUF) on waivers

Wolanin played in just one game with the Sabres during his stint there. In that contest, he failed to get on the scoresheet and had a minus-2 rating.
Over the course of his NHL career thus far, he has five goals and 18 points in 62 games. He had most of his NHL success with the Ottawa Senators. His best season came during the 2018-19 campaign, where he had four goals and 12 points in 30 games. Perhaps they could look to add him if the Kings decline to.
Nonetheless, we will have to wait and see what occurs with Wolanin.
