Derick Brassard Fined $2,000 For Unsportsmanlike Conduct
NHL Player Safety has fined Philadelphia Flyers forward Derick Brassard $2,000 for Unsportsmanlike Conduct in Saturday night's contest against the Washington Capitals.

There's no question that Hathaway is a player who is known for his tenacious style of play and agitating nature, but Brassard certainly is in the wrong for this. Ultimately, it's understandable as to why Brassard received a fine for his actions. When the Capitals and Flyers play next on December 21st, perhaps these two can settle the score on the ice. Don't be surprised to see Hathaway go right at him.
