Today's practice has been canceled for precautionary reasons.
Smart of the others to take precautionary measures to ensure things don't get too far out of hand. The team has also moved Duncan Keith to Injured Reserve.
As for Ceci, he's in his first season in Edmonton after signing a four-year deal worth $3.25 million per season. He used his time in Pittsburgh to resurrect his career and Ceci's been solid since day one as an Oiler.
In 20 games in Edmonton this season, Ceci has recorded six points. He's become a fan favorite for the Oilers so let's hope he can get his health cleared here shortly and get back on the ice, doing what he's been doing best this season.
Cody Ceci is worth every penny of $3.5MM – in fact, it may be a value contract for the #oilers
