Filip Forsberg Out For The Nashville Predators
The Nashville Predators have announced that Filip Forsberg will be out week-to-week with an upper-body injury.
Forsberg was unable to play in Wednesday night's contest against the Edmonton Oilers and is expected to miss multiple games from here. This is bad news for the Predators, as Forsberg is one of their top player. Furthermore, they currently have a 5-5-0 record and one prolonged losing streak could really hurt their chances of being a true playoff team.Filip Forsberg (upper-body, week-to-week) and Mark Borowiecki (upper-body, day-to-day) will not play in tonight's game against Edmonton. #Preds | #NSHvsEDM

The Predators missed him immensely against the Oilers, as they were defeated by a 5-2 final score. If Forsberg was in the lineup, they very well could have had more offense.
This is a big year for Forsberg, as he is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent next summer. If he has himself another great season, he should receive quite a raise, whether it be through an extension with the Predators or free agency. In nine games this season thus far, he has four goals and seven points.
