Hurricanes' Tony DeAngelo Fined $2,000 For Diving
Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Tony DeAngelo has been fined $2,000 for diving in November 6th's contest against the Florida Panthers.
Truthfully, it's a little strange to see a player get fined almost a week after the event occurred. The Hurricanes also have played another game since then, as they took on the Tampa Bay Lightning on November 9th.Tony DeAngelo has been fined $2,000 for diving/embellishment on Nov 6 vs Florida. #LetsGoCanes https://t.co/Xw7rEfRon0

When reviewing the play, though, it is rather apparent that DeAngelo does in fact dive. Although Gustav Forsling's stick makes contact with DeAngelo, it wasn't enough to naturally warrant him to lose his balance that dramatically.
Do you feel DeAngelo's dive was worthy of a fine? Let us know in the comments!
