Kevin Labanc To Have Hearing For Slew-Footing

San Jose Sharks forward Kevin Labanc has a hearing with NHL Player Safety for slew-footing St. Louis Blues forward Tyler Bozak.

The play occurred when the two teams faced off on Thursday night. When chasing after a loose puck, Labanc extended his leg and tripped Bozak. As a result of this, the 35-year-old center crashed into the boards hard.

NHL Player Safety has been very lenient with slew-footing this season, as New Jersey Devils defenseman P.K. Subban did it three different times this season alone and did not receive a single suspension. Instead, he was fined $5,000 for his second one and $15,000 for his third.

Do you think they will do something similar with Labanc or actually opt to hand the winger a suspension? Let us know in the comments.
