Montreal Canadiens Provide Update On Carey Price's Return
Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price has been away from the team the entire regular season after going into the Players Assistance Program. However, that is expected to change. Price's minimum of 30 days in the program ends this Friday and he could join the team as early as this weekend, according to Eric Engels. However, it's also important to note that an exact date has yet to be determined.
What's most important right now is that Carey feels he is in a good enough place to return to hockey.Just to clarify: I take this to mean that Price won’t be enrolled in the program for more than the minimum 30 days. He should be back with Canadiens shortly, by this weekend at the earliest. No exact date yet for his return.

He's also coming back at a time where the Canadiens absolutely need him to help save their season. They currently are at the bottom of the Atlantic Division with a 2-8-0 record. Interestingly, though, their primary issue has been scoring. In those 10 games so far, they only have scored 19 total goals. That means they are averaging less than two per game.
Besides Price's excellent play, his leadership also will be happily welcomed back. He will be looking to build off of his spectacular play last postseason.
Nonetheless, the hockey world is better with Price, so it's awesome that he is on his way back to the team!
