Ottawa Senators Place Forward On Waivers
The Ottawa Senators have placed forward Clark Bishop on waivers.
Bishop did not appear in an NHL contest with the Senators this season. However, during the 2020-21 campaign, he recorded three assists in 13 games with the team. He also played eight games with the Belleville Senators where he had two goals and five points in eight games.Gelinas (CAR) & Lodnia (MIN) are on unconditional waivers...Bishop (OTT) on regular waivers

Bishop was originally acquired by the Senators from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for Maxime Lajoie. In 25 games over two seasons with the Hurricanes, Bishop had a goal and four points. He also was an alternate captain for the Charlotte Checkers during the 2018-19 season.
Due to the amount of forward depth NHL teams have, they may elect to pass on Bishop. However, maybe a team will give him a shot if they are dealing with injury trouble. We will have to wait and see on that front.
In other news, two players also have been placed on unconditional waivers - Eric Gelinas of the Carolina Hurricanes and Ivan Lodnia of the Minnesota Wild.
