Ottawa Senators Waive Forward
The Ottawa Senators have placed forward Logan Shaw on waivers.
In 16 games this season with Ottawa, Shaw has a goal and three points. The 29-year-old will be heading back to the Belleville Senators if he goes unclaimed. In 24 games last season with the AHL squad, he had six goals and 15 points.Matt Murray clears. Evander Kane and Logan Shaw (OTT) on waivers

Over the course of his professional career, Shaw has spent the majority of it bouncing from the NHL and AHL. In 231 career NHL games between the Florida Panthers, Anaheim Ducks, Montreal Canadiens, Winnipeg Jets and Senators, he has 16 goals and 39 points.
Shaw being waived comes just one day after the Senators did the same thing with goaltender Matt Murray. Shaw may not be as big of a name as Murray, but he is a 6'3" winger with a $725,000 cap hit. Perhaps a team could give him a shot.
