Philadelphia Flyers Forward Out Week-To-Week
The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that forward Kevin Hayes will be out week-to-week after re-injuring himself in last Tuesday's contest against the Calgary Flames.
Hayes missed the beginning of the 2021-22 regular season after undergoing abdominal surgery right before training camp. Once he returned to the lineup, he immediately was contributed to the scoresheet. In two games, he had a goal and an assist. Against the Flames, he memorably pointed to the sky after his goal in honor of his brother Jimmy Hayes who passed away this summer.Injury update: Per AV, Flyers forward Kevin Hayes suffered a re-injury vs. Calgary on Nov. 16 and is considered week-to-week.

Hayes is the second player to re-injure himself from the Flyers this season. Of course, key defenseman Ryan Ellis also had a major setback in his return to the team and now is expected to be out four-to-six weeks himself.
Without these two important players, the Flyers have still been able to remain competitive, though. They currently have an 8-5-3 record and are fourth in the deep Metropolitan Division. Still, even with this, it's a major blow that Hayes will be out once again.
