Report: Boston Bruins Trading Jake DeBrusk
After what seems like three straight years of trade rumors, it appears the Boston Bruins are finally trading forward Jake DeBrusk after DeBrusk has requested a trade out of Boston.
Hearing that BOS and Jake DeBrusk are working on the possibility of a fresh start for the player. Told nothing is imminent at this time, but something to keep an eye on.

The 25-year-old DeBrusk is a pending restricted free agent who is making $3.65 million on the cap. So far in 17 games this season, he's only scored three times and has recorded six total points. Certainly not the type of production the team was expecting from DeBrusk when the year started.
It's been a tough stretch between the player and the team as throughout his tenure with the Bruins, he's battled it out with coaches and hasn't lived up to the expectations after being the 14th overall pick at the 2015 draft.
In his four and a half seasons in Bean Town, DeBrusk has recorded 140 points in 261 games. He's been an effective player in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, recording 26 points in 59 games. There's going to be a wide range of interest. Expect to see a trade go down with a team from the Western Conference. There's a couple in Alberta who would love to get their hands on the home town product.
