Seattle Kraken Place Forward On Waivers
The Seattle Kraken have placed forward Riley Sheahan on waivers.
With Colin Blackwell now ready to go for the Kraken, it makes sense that they decided to do this with Sheahan. He did seem to become the odd man out with this.Leo Komarov and Riley Sheahan on waivers today. Komarov unconditional and headed to KHL.

Sheahan was a late summer signing by the Kraken and was viewed to be a depth forward for them. However, with Seattle having many forwards out during the season, Sheahan suited up in 14 games with the team. In them, he had a goal and two assists.
Sheahan works well as a bottom-six forward and with his low $850,000 cap hit, there may be a team willing to give him a shot. Furthermore, his solid defensive play allows him to be utilized on the penalty kill, too.
We will have to wait and see if Sheahan gets claimed from here. Maybe the Ottawa Senators could decide to take him, as they a plethora of players out.
