Toronto Maple Leafs Goaltender Placed On Injured Reserve
The Toronto Maple Leafs have placed goaltender Petr Mrazek on injured reserve due to another groin injury. He is expected to be out for the next four weeks.
The Leafs announced Saturday that Mrazek reaggravated the groin injury he sustained in his first game with the team. As a result of this, they called up Marlies goaltender Joseph Woll.Maple Leafs goaltender Petr Mrázek has been placed on injured reserve due to a groin injury, retroactive to November 4.

He is expected to miss approximately four weeks.
Mrazek's originally groin injury kept him out for six straight games. When he recovered from it, he only appeared in one more contest with them. In his two starts with the team, he has a 1-1-0 record, 4.20 GAA and .877 SV%.
Mrazek dealt with injury trouble last season with the Carolina Hurricanes, but was excellent when he did play. In 12 games, he had a 6-2-3 record, 2.06 GAA and .923 SV%. Once he is ready to return again, the Leafs will be hoping for that kind of stability in net from him. It's why he landed that nice three-year, $11.4 million contract in the first place.
