Trade Rumor: Two Teams Interested In Vitali Kravtsov

According to Frank Seravalli, the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators have the most interest in New York Rangers forward Vitali Kravtsov.

Kravtsov has been one of the biggest names in the rumor mill since the beginning of the regular season. For those who need a refresher, he refused to report to the Hartford Wolf Pack after he didn't make the NHL roster. From here, the Rangers gave Kravtsov's agent, Dan Milstein, permission to speak with other teams about a potential trade.

Now, in November, Kravtsov has yet to be dealt and has been loaned to Traktor Chelyabinsk of the KHL. He was marvelous in his first game with the team, too, as he scored two goals and added an assist.

Although the Canadiens and Senators are currently struggling this season, it would make sense for them to pursue the 2018 9th overall pick. The 21-year-old winger is viewed as having a plethora of potential and could fit nicely in both of their lineups. Furthermore, he would obviously be there for the long term.

In 20 games with the Rangers last season, Kravtsov scored two goals and had four points. He didn't light the world by storm, but this is just the beginning for the youngster. Perhaps getting that change of scenery with Montreal or Ottawa could be what helps him break out at the NHL level.
