Tucker Poolman Suspended For Two Games
Vancouver Canucks defenseman Tucker Poolman has been suspended two games for High-sticking Colorado Avalanche forward Kiefer Sherwood.
In Thursday night's contest between the two clubs, Sherwood threw a check on Poolman. Clearly this agitated the defenseman, as he responded by swinging his stick at Sherwood's face. From here, Poolman rightfully received a game misconduct.Vancouver’s Tucker Poolman has been suspended for two games for High-sticking Colorado’s Kiefer Sherwood. https://t.co/HyKt2z9Gw2

When it was announced that Poolman had a hearing with NHL Player Safety, it was easy to predict a suspension was coming. The play was not only retaliatory, but also dirty and dangerous. That's the kind of stuff you hate to see in hockey.
When Poolman's suspension is up, the Canucks will be playing the Avalanche yet again on November 17th. Let's just say there's a good chance we will see some rough stuff. Don't be surprised to see Poolman get challenged to a fight, too.
