Tucker Poolman To Have Hearing For High-Sticking
Without any surprise, Tucker Poolman has a hearing with NHL Player Safety. For those who missed it, the 28-year-old defenseman swung his stick at Colorado Avalanche forward Kiefer Sherwood's face on Thursday night.
It's important to note that Poolman did this after Sherwood threw a hit on him. Thus, it is fair to say that this was an act of retaliation by the 28-year-old defenseman.Vancouver’s Tucker Poolman will have a hearing today for High-sticking Colorado’s Kiefer Sherwood.

As a result of the very dirty play, Poolman was handed a 10-minute match penalty and was thrown out of the game. With this and him officially having a hearing, a suspension seems inevitable at this juncture. It's fair to state that it is deserved, too.
