Video: Bruins' DeBrusk Wins Oreos In Rock Paper Scissors
Before the Boston Bruins took on the Ottawa Senators, Jake DeBrusk engaged in a game of rock paper scissors with a fan. If she had won, she would have received DeBrusk's hockey stick. However, DeBrusk would be victorious and was given a pack of Oreos for his effort. The winger did, however, throw a puck for the glass for her as a sweet consolation prize.
It's always fun to see NHL players interact with fans. They are the type of moments that fans never forget and appreciate immensely. Thus, props to DeBrusk for doing so.
DeBrusk wouldn't get on the scoresheet against the Senators, but he was still quite noticeable out there. In fact, his high degree of effort led him to be moved up to the second line in the third period, while Taylor Hall was demoted.
In 10 games on the year, DeBrusk has just two goals. However, one has to wonder if a hot streak is on the way because he's been making chances for himself. Perhaps obtaining more Oreos from fans is the answer.
