Video: Canucks' Nils Hoglander Fools Predators' Juuse Saros And Scores

Vancouver Canucks forward Nils Hoglander showed great patience and completely fooled Nashville Predators goaltender Juuse Saros out of position. From here, he the young winger was able to tuck it into the wide open net.

Not only was this a goal a very nice one, but it also was extremely important for Hoglander to get. In his first ten games this season, the 20-year-old did not score a single goal and only had three assists. Now that he's broken the ice, it won't be surprising to see his offensive contributions shoot back up again.

As a rookie last season, Hoglander scored 13 goals and had 27 points in 56 games. Many fans expect him to take that next step and blossom into a true top-six forward. Goals like that certainly will boost his confidence and help his case.

Although it wasn't as crazy as Connor McDavid's remarkable goal Friday night, Hoglander's was still a very good one that deserves a lot of praise.
