Video: Canucks' Thatcher Demko Makes Diving Paddle Save

It was just one week ago when Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko made a skate blade save on Artemi Panarin of the New York Rangers. In Sunday night's contest against the Dallas Stars, he followed that up with a remarkable diving paddle save on captain Jamie Benn.

With this, Demko has another save of the year candidate this season already. Keep in mind, it's still only November and he has plenty of time to make more beautiful stops like this.

Demko's having a very good start to the 2021-22 season in general, too. In 10 games, he has a 5-4-1 record, 2.59 GAA and .918 SV%. Therefore, it's pretty safe to say that he is feeling very confident in goal right now.
