Video: Flyers' Farabee Scores Beautiful Goal

Joel Farabee scored himself a beautiful goal Friday evening against the Carolina Hurricanes. While on the penalty kill, the 21-year-old winger completely fooled rookie Seth Jarvis before beating Antti Raanta five-hole.

The Flyers may have fell to the Hurricanes by a 6-3 final score, but Farabee desperately needed a goal like this. The younger winger has gone extremely cold, as he has been held off the scoresheet in 13 of his last 16 games. However, he now has scored in back-to-back games, so perhaps he's finally going to heat up.

The Flyers certainly need him to, as they just signed him to a six-year, $30 million contract over the summer. This was after he scored 20 goals and had 38 total points in 55 games last season. Therefore, he's already shown that he can be a very good NHL player.

Alas, that's the type of goal all hockey fans love to see. It's great to see the youngster showing a lot of confidence again.
