Video: Jack Eichel Opens Up About Trade Demands and Heading to Vegas

Jack Eichel is a Vegas Golden Knight as the news came out fast and furious Thursday morning. Leave it up to hockey insider Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet to land the first interview with Eichel as the ex-Sabres captain opened up about his time in Buffalo and his excitement heading to Vegas.

There was a ton of reports coming out the past week about the talks heating up and Eichel was certainly relieved to hear the news finally drop. The Golden Knights beat out the Calgary Flames and Carolina Hurricanes and now have to wait roughly four months before Eichel will be in the lineup. He's headed for back surgery, something that got in between the Sabres and his medical reps.
