Video: Jordan Eberle Scores First Hat Trick In Seattle Kraken History
In Thursday night's contest against the Buffalo Sabres, Jordan Eberle recorded a hat trick. This is a huge moment, as it is the first ever hat trick in Seattle Kraken history.
When looking at the Kraken's forward group, it's not all that surprising to see that Eberle is the first player to achieve this for them. The Kraken picked him from the New York Islanders in the Expansion Draft because of his goal scoring ability. Now in 11 games with his new team, Eberle has five goals and seven points. That's not too bad and this could be the beginning of more to come from the 31-year-old.
All three of his goals were extremely important as well. His first goal tied the game up, while the next one was the game winner. The third one gave them much-needed insurance. Thus, they sparked the comeback and the team's eventual win.
Nonetheless, it's always fun to see hat tricks and now the Kraken have their first one!
