Video: Kraken's Jordan Eberle Scores With Beautiful No-Look Backhander
Although the Seattle Kraken would fall to the New York Rangers on Halloween night, they did have one highlight worth discussing. After receiving a pass from Jaden Schwartz, Jordan Eberle scored with a gorgeous no-look backhander from the faceoff dot. You don't see goals like this one too often.
This wasn't a easy shot to save either, as it had a good amount of velocity for a backhander. It was the one goal that Igor Shesterkin let in the entire game and it's fair to state that it was understandable. Backhanders can be hard to track in normal circumstances.
Eberle is expected to be one of the top forwards for the Kraken this season and with goals like that, he certainly is helping his case. In nine games on the season thus far, he has two goals and four points. We will have to wait and see if this leads to the beginning of a hot streak for the 31-year-old winger.
