Video: Nick Suzuki Scores From Behind The Net
In Thursday night's game against the Calgary Flames, Montreal Canadiens forward Nick Suzuki showed great skill. While behind the net, he banked the puck off goaltender Jacob Markstrom for the goal.
Suzuki actually tried to do the same thing earlier on in the contest, but wasn't successful the first time around. However, he ended up getting the last laugh with his second attempt.
This goal ended up being the game-winner, too, so it's rather clear that it was a big one for the Canadiens. With the win, they now sport a 4-10-1 record and jumped ahead of the Ottawa Senators in the Atlantic Division. Although they still have a lot more work to do to get back in the playoff race, this is a great start for them.
It's always fun to see these type of goals. They not only require a lot of skill, but excellent IQ as well. Thus, Suzuki deserves a lot of praise for it.
