Video: Ryan Reaves Dominates Fight Against Michael Pezzetta

Tuesday night between the Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers got very crazy. After Ryan Reaves threw a hard, but clean hit on Michael Pezzetta, this infuriated the latter. From here, the rookie would challenge the grizzled veteran to a fight.

It went exactly how you would expect. Without any surprise, it was significantly one-sided and Reaves, the famous enforcer, beat Pezzetta up with ease. It certainly was fun for Ranger fans to see, as this was the 34-year-old winger's first fight with the team. Keep in mind, he was brought in for his toughness in the first place.

Even though Pezzetta lost, one has to respect him for challenging such an imposing NHL player. Sure, it wasn't a very smart decision in the end, but it did show that he's not afraid to fight the league's toughest players. It definitely will grab the attention of not only Montreal, but also the entire league.

The rookie has been a factor as of late, too. Last game against the Boston Bruins, he scored his first NHL goal. He also recorded his first assist in the previous contest against the Detroit Red Wings.

With all of this, Montreal may have a new agitator in town. In eight total games, he already has 17 penalty minutes.
