Video: Steven Lorentz Scores Fantastic Goal
Carolina Hurricanes forward Steven Lorentz must have played a lot of baseball growing up. In Friday night's game against the Philadelphia Flyers, the 25-year-old forward batted a puck out of the air to score on goaltender Carter Hart.
These kind of goals are always cool to see, as they certainly require a lot of skill. It isn't easy to hit a puck out of air during a game, let alone put it past a goalie in the process.Stevie Lorentz the baseball player pic.twitter.com/7zkPtCB3Da

Lorentz is no stranger to scoring must-see goals. In his first goal of the 2021-22 season, he showed great determination when he battled Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Rasmus Sandin for a loose puck before burying it.
Lorentz certainly has been grabbing the attention of Hurricane fans because of his strong work ethic and tenacity. Perhaps this will lead to offense from him more frequently moving forward.
Heck, maybe MLB teams will be calling Lorentz after this one!
