Video: Tim Stutzle Scores First Of The Season

Ottawa Senators forward Tim Stutzle finally scored his first goal of the season Saturday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins. It was a very nice one, too, as he sniped it right past goaltender Casey DeSmith with a quality wrist shot.

That's exactly what the Senators need from Stutzle moving forward. The beginning of the season has been a bit rough for the 19-year-old when it comes to offense. In 14 games thus far, he now has the goal and six total points.

Stutzle has all the tools to be a star in this league and showed it last season as a rookie. In 53 games, he scored 12 goals and had 29 points. The Senators as a whole have struggled this season, though. Now that he's broken the ice, it wouldn't be surprising to see his production jump up significantly from here.

The Senators ended up getting a much-needed win, too, as they defeated the Penguins by a 6-3 final score.
