Video: Tucker Poolman Swings Stick At Kiefer Sherwood's Head
After taking a hit from Colorado Avalanche forward Kiefer Sherwood, Vancouver Canucks defenseman Tucker Poolman responded by swinging his stick at Sherwood's head.
Following the play, Poolman understandably received a 10-minute match penalty and was ejected from the rest of the contest. Due to the fact that was assessed a match penalty, Poolman is automatically suspended pending review by NHL Player Safety.

This was clearly retaliatory, so it would not be surprising to see Poolman end up getting multiple games as a result of this. Swinging a stick full force at an opponent's head honestly warrants that, but we will have to wait and see what occurs.
It was a rough game for the Canucks as a whole, as they were defeated by a 7-1 final score.
