The Vegas Golden Knights are known for doing things in a unique way. They certainly lived up to their reputation with the way they welcomed Jack Eichel to the city. The truth is in the video.

After months of trade talks, the Buffalo Sabres finally dealt Eichel to the Golden Knights on November 4th. For those of you who missed the details of the trade or need a refresher, Vegas sent Alex Tuch, Peyton Krebs and first-round and second-round picks to Buffalo for Eichel and a third-round pick.

With Eichel being a true star in this league, it's fair to say that Vegas' welcome painted him as such. It isn't too often that a franchise throws a celebration like that for a player who is just arriving. Yet, this is exactly what makes the Golden Knights such a fascinating team off the ice. Furthermore, it was a nice way for them to show Jack that they are ecstatic to have him there.

This is the kind of treatment Eichel will surely have to get used to from here. The 25-year-old has five years left on his contract and will immediately be one of their most important players once he is ready to go. We will have to wait and see what they have planned for him once he is cleared to play again. It should be very fun to watch.
