Buffalo Sabres Acquire Goaltender From Chicago Blackhawks
The Buffalo Sabres have acquired goaltender Malcolm Subban from the Chicago Blackhawks for future considerations.
The Sabres have been in the market for a goalie, so it's not surprising to see them add Subban. Furthermore, the 27-year-old will likely have a chance to be back on an NHL roster. Chicago originally acquired Subban from the Vegas Golden Knights in the Robin Lehner trade back during the 2019-20 season. In 17 games with the Blackhawks, he had a 6-8-1 record, 3.20 GAA and .900 SV%.
In 82 career NHL games, Subban has a 36-31-8 record, 3.02 GAA and .899 SV%. Now, the Sabres have Subban, Craig Anderson, Dustin Tokarski and Aaron Dell as their options for goalie. Let's see who ends up being their tandem from here.
