Buffalo Sabres Defenseman Out Month-To-Month
The Buffalo Sabres have announced that defenseman Robert Hagg will be our month-to-month with a lower-body injury.
Robert Hagg is considered month to month after missing the 3rd period in Winnipeg with a lower-body injury. He leads the Sabres in hits (49) and blocked shots (56). https://t.co/9rZVTaWTKb

Hagg was a player to watch at the beginning of the season for Buffalo, as he was a major piece who came back from the Philadelphia Flyers in the Rasmus Ristolainen trade. Although he had a bit of a rough year with the Flyers last season, he was a potential bounce back candidate for this one.
In 25 games so far this season, Hagg has scored a goal and recorded five total points. With that, he sports a minus-12 rating, but a lot of that can be blamed on the fact that he's on a rebuilding Buffalo squad.
If Hagg is able to return this season, he certainly will make an interesting rental candidate for teams. The 6'2" defenseman has showed previous success offensively, as he had 20 points in 82 games with Philadelphia during the 2018-19 campaign. He then followed that up with 13 points in 49 games the following one. Teams are always looking for big defenseman, of course, too.
Buffalo's another team who has had a lot of injuries this season, so it stings to hear Hagg will be out this long. Here's to hoping the 26-year-old has a speedy recovery and is able to get into more action before season's end.
