Buffalo Sabres Forward Set To Make Debut

Buffalo Sabres forward Alex Tuch is set to make his debut with the team Monday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets. That is assuming that the contest does not postponed, of course.

Tuch was one of the main pieces who came back from the Vegas Golden Knights in the Jack Eichel trade. The 25-year-old winger has been out of action all season because of shoulder surgery he underwent during the offseason. However, he is now finally ready to come back.

All eyes will naturally be on Tuch during this contest. The Syracuse native is coming off of a strong season with the Golden Knights, as he had 18 goals and 33 points in 55 games. He also has a 52-point season on his resume and is still young, so we may not have even seen the best of him yet. With that, due to Buffalo's weaker forward depth, he should be given a larger role there than with Vegas.

In 255 career games between the Minnesota Wild and Golden Knights, Tuch has 61 goals, 78 assists and 139 points. Now, he finally has the chance to build on those numbers, but as a member of his childhood team moving forward. That's a nice little bonus, wouldn't you say?
