It isn't too surprising to the league decide to do this, as it was just announced that Elias Lindholm, Andrew Mangiapane, Brad Richardson, Adam Ruzicka, Chris Tanev and Nikita Zadorov were all placed in COVID-19 Protocol. With that, a member of the staff has joined them as well.
Time will tell if the more of Calgary's game will be postponed due to this. That's a significant amount of their players out and more can surely follow them. If all goes according to plan, however, they will play next on December 18th against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Here's to hoping each player will be able to return very soon.
