Canadiens Make Lineup Changes Ahead Of Predators Game

The Montreal Canadiens have activated forward Mike Hoffman off injured reserve. As a result of this, the 32-year-old winger will be back in the lineup for Saturday night's contest against the Nashville Predators.

Hoffman has not played since November 13th's matchup against the Detroit Red Wings due to his injury. With that, he also missed all of training camp and the beginning of the 2021-22 season, so things have been rough for the veteran since joining Montreal. However, when he has played, he's been pretty productive for the most part. In 13 games so far, he has four goals and seven points.

The Canadiens are certainly happy to have Hoffman back in the lineup, as they are trying to get back on track. At this said time, they have a 6-17-2 record, so yes, it's certainly fair to state that they have struggled.

Montreal will also be dressing Mattias Norlinder, too. In five games with the Canadiens this season, the 21-year-old has an assist.
