Edmonton Oilers Have Some Help On The Way
The Edmonton Oilers are off to a hot start this season, all while losing some of their best defensemen to injuries. Turns out help is on the way as the will be welcoming Darnell Nurse back to the lineup this upcoming weekend.
Both Nurse and forward Devin Shore took part in the team's optional skate on Thursday and look to be returning to the lineup on Sunday when the Oilers face off against the Los Angeles Kings.
Update: Both Darnell Nurse & Devin Shore took part in today's optional #Oilers practice.

Nurse, who was expected to receive some Norris trophy votes this season went down with a broken finger during the middle of November. He's appeared in 16 games so far in 2021-22 and has recorded 11 assists.
Shore on the other hand has been dealing with a lower-body injury for roughly a month and has one goal and two points in the eight games he's appeared in.
Meanwhile the Oilers sit 16-5-0 on the season, good for first in the Pacific division and first overall in the Western Conference. They manhandled the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday night and look to keep rolling heading into the weekend.
