Help On The Way For Tampa Bay Lightning
Tampa Bay Lightning center Brayden Point has been out of action for a month due to an upper-body injury. However, it appears that the 25-year-old is close to returning, as head coach Jon Cooper told reporters that he could be listed as day-to-day after the holiday break.

Even without Point in the lineup, the Lightning have been truly dominant. At this juncture, they are tied with the Toronto Maple Leafs at the top of the Atlantic Division with a 19-6-4 record. Getting another one of their stars back will only make them better, which is certainly a scary thought for the rest of the league.
Before getting injured, Point was off to another very solid season. In 16 games thus far, he has seven goals and 13 points. Once he returns, he should be able to produce at a similar rate, especially when looking at his resume in this league. In 367 career games with the Lightning, he has 146 goals, 177 assists and 323 points. With that, he also has a 92-point campaign under his belt, too.
If he continues to progress at the same pace, we should see Point in the lineup by the start of 2022. Here's to hoping that he does, as the league is always a lot more entertaining when he's playing.
