Los Angeles Kings Bringing Back Defenseman
The Los Angeles Kings have claimed defenseman Christian Wolanin off waivers from the Buffalo Sabres.
Earlier on in the season, the Kings lost Wolanin through waivers, so they had first priority to claim the 26-year-old. Ultimately, it makes sense that they took advantage of this chance, as it stings to lose a player for nothing and they do have some injuries on the backend. Now, they have more depth.LA claims Wolanin

With the Kings already losing Wolanin through waivers this season, they can now send him to the AHL freely if they wish to. Therefore, unless he's traded, he will remain with the organization for the remainder of this season.
Wolanin's tenure with the Sabres ends after just one game. In three total games with the Kings last season, he failed to get on the scoresheet. Now, he will be aiming to build off of that and be a bigger force for them from here.
