Maple Leafs Mitch Marner Missing Another Game Thanks to Jake Muzzin
The Toronto Maple Leafs will be without Mitch Marner once again on Sunday night when they make their way to Winnipeg to face the Jets. Marner collided with teammate Jake Muzzin in practice on Friday and is too banged up to play.

While the team mentions it's precautionary, it's tough not to think about a possible concussion. Marner was obviously rattled not only by the hit but the fact Muzzin was the one who hit him.
So far this season in 24 games, Marner has recorded 21 points and that's with him getting off to a horrible start this year. He's been great of late and has once again found some serious chemistry with Maple Leafs superstar Auston Matthews.
One crazy stat from the Maple Leafs game against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday night was it was Matthews first power play goal in the NHL without Marner in the lineup. The two are going to be huge parts of any team success this season and their Stanley Cup hopes ride in their hands.
Look for Marner to return to the lineup next week for Toronto, and if he doesn't expect to see Leafs Nation take Muzzin off their Christmas list.
