Montreal Canadiens Top-Six Forward Out Indefinitely
The Montreal Canadiens are continuing to have bad luck, as they now have announced that forward Christian Dvorak will be out indefinitely due to his lower-body injury. He last played on December 7th when the Canadiens faced the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Dvorak was acquired by the Canadiens late into the offseason in response to the Carolina Hurricanes successfully offer sheeting forward Jesperi Kotkaniemi. In 27 games so far this season with Montreal, Dvorak has five goals, 12 points and a minus-13 rating. Although it hasn't been the best of starts for his standards, he still is currently fifth on the team in points, so his absence is rather notable.
Besides Dvorak out long-term, Carey Price, Josh Anderson, Tyler Toffoli, Joel Edmundson and of course Shea Weber are currently sidelined as well. With all of these players out, it understandably hasn't been a good season for Montreal, as they sport a 6-21-3 record.
As we await for more specific details about Dvorak's injury and expected recovery time, all we can hope for is that the forward has a speedy recovery.
