Nashville Predators Recall Multiple Players

The Nashville Predators have multiple players in Covid-19 protocol. Due to this, they have recalled Cody Glass, Rocco Grimaldi, Mathieu Olivier and Cole Smith from the Milwaukee Admirals.

Glass is the most notable of the bunch, so many eyes will be on him. Nashville acquired him during the offseason from the Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for Nolan Patrick. The 2017 first-round pick will be looking to impress in his first call-up since October. In two games this season with Nashville, he has no points. In the AHL, however, he has recorded an impressive 19 points in 21 games.

Grimaldi was waived in early November and will be getting into his first NHL action since. In five games this season with the Predators, he failed to get on the scoresheet. Yet, he did record 31 points in 66 games during the 2019-20 campaign, so perhaps a bounce back of some kind is in order.

Olivier has also gotten into some action with the Predators this season. In five games, he had an assist and 12 penalty minutes. The big winger will bring more physicality to the lineup and we should see him on the fourth line.

Lastly, this will be Smith's season debut with the Predators. He skated in one game for the team last year and was held without a point. With the Admirals this season, he has five goals and 12 points in 20 games.
